The Sinar Booster 1 is a metering probe light meter accessory.  It can be used with either the Sinar Metering Back or a number of handheld light meters, such as the Minolta Flashmeter III and IV, to take precise exposure readings from the film plane of large format cameras.  The probe fits into the film holder slot of the back of a large format camera reading light reaching the film plane.  This allows the Sinar Booster 1 to compensate for both any filters in use or for bellows extension.
